There were 56,800 Available Job Postings in September 2020. 42 percent or 24,100 of these were New (first-time) Job Postings. Personal Care and Services Occupations have seen an increased demand in our region, mostly for Personal Care Aides, Nannies, Nonfarm Animal Caretakers and Childcare Workers.

There were 55,800 Available Job Postings in August 2020 and companies seeking to relocate or expand in the Austin MSA announced 1,830 jobs in the same month. There were approximately 25,400 New (first-time) Job Postings in August 2020, with Software Developers-Applications leading the postings, followed by Sales Representatives, Retail Salespersons and Customer Service Representatives.
