This past week marked another milestone for Austin and the Chamber. Conde Nast, a New York-based publication agency, opened their new location in East Austin. Attracting more than 100 million consumers across its print, digital, and video brands, the company’s portfolio includes some of the most iconic titles in media: Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Brides, Self, GQ, GQ Style, and The New Yorker.

As part of the Chamber, Opportunity Austin works to attract companies to Central Texas. This helps create jobs, opportunity, and economic growth for Austinites, their families, and our community. Opportunity Austin was key in helping to bring Conde Nast to our city.

The Chamber's Michele Skelding, Senior Vice President of Technology and Innovation, was on-hand to welcome employees, express our thanks for coming to Austin, and to help cut the ceremonial ribbon to make it official. Headquartered in One World Trade Center in New York City, Conde Nast has offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and now lists Austin. This marquis announcement speaks volumes to where Austin is today and how we have established ourselves as a destination for businesses seeking success and growth.
