The 2023 Austin Gives Awards are right around the corner. This year’s awards luncheon will be held in late August and the community is already buzzing about who will be recognized as Central Texas’ most generous businesses. Nominations open May 8^thand will run until June 2^nd for the categories of Volunteer of the Year, Generous Business, and Employee Engagement. Information about nominations and a recap of the 2022 honorees can be found here.

In order to make this year’s awards the best they can be, the Austin Chamber is seeking volunteers to serve on the nominations and judging committees. All committee members will be recognized at the awards luncheon.

Can you offer a few hours of your time in May to recruit 5 generous businesses to self-nominate? The work includes 1-2 virtual meetings, some emailing and social posts, and is ideal for well-connected executives. The committee will be chaired by Kathleen Lucente, Red Fan Communications.

This committee is perfect for a junior executive who would enjoy reading the amazing stories submitted by Central Texas businesses who are making an impact on our community through generosity. The work includes 2-3 hours of time in mid-June. The committee will be chaired by Ally Fiebig, NI.
