The City of Kyle and Opportunity Austin, the Greater Austin Chamber's five-county economic development initiative, announced South Korea-based electronic materials manufacturer ENF Technology has chosen to locate its US headquarters in Kyle.

"We are excited to welcome ENF Technology, a high-tech advanced manufacturing company that meets our target markets and our goal of moving forward as an employment hub with high-paying quality jobs," said City of Kyle Director of Economic Development Diana Torres. "The location of ENF in Kyle will also make our community more attractive to additional supply chain companies that could potentially occupy the nearly one million square feet of spec space available and spur development of plentiful greenspace within the City of Kyle."

Established in 2000, ENF Technology is a global leader in electronic materials manufacturing largely used in the semiconductor industry.

ENF Technology plans to build a 125,000-square-foot facility in Kyle's 2,200-acre mixed-use master planned community Plum Creek Development. The company will initially create 40 jobs and eventually expand to 80 employees at this facility.

The City of Kyle worked with Opportunity Austin and representatives from the City of Kyle, Hays County and the Office of the Governor to assist ENF Technology in finding a location for its facility.

“ENF Technology’s decision to locate its US Headquarters in the Plum Creek Development in Kyle is a welcome addition to the area’s burgeoning high-tech manufacturing industry," said Opportunity Austin Senior Vice President of Economic Development Charisse Bodisch. "The symmetry between the company and the region’s existing semiconductor industry reinforces the local supply chain for one of the strongest semiconductor markets in the country.”

The City of Kyle boasts a 700 percent annual growth rate over ten years; 40,000 residential lots are projected to be built within the next 10 to 15 years.
