AUSTIN, Texas - The winners of Austin Chamber of Commerce's Austin Gives Awards were announced on May 7th at an awards ceremony that took place at the JW Marriott in Austin. Over 450 guests were in attendance at the event, which takes place every year to honor companies and individuals who go above and beyond to give back to the community-based non-profit organizations. In addition to the regular awards, the Bobby Jenkins Philanthropic Leader of the Year Award was presented to Patsy Woods Martin, founder of I Live Here, I Give Here and creator of Amplify Austin Day.

Austin Chamber CEO Jeremy Martin kicked off the event, followed by St. David's HealthCare Vice President Denise Bradley, who introduced Keynote Speaker Jake Wood, founder of Groundswell and Project Rubicon.
