Celebration to honor Austin's top businesses in 15 categories

AUSTIN, Texas—The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce today opened nominations for the Greater Austin Business Awards. Started in 2000, the Greater Austin Business Awards is one of the largest award programs in the region.

Award recipients are selected by an independent panel of judges. The panel of judges will select honorees for the Uniquely Austin Award; the award recipient is selected by public voting. Companies with a presence in Travis, Williamson, Hays, Caldwell, and/or Bastrop counties may self-nominate in up to two of 15 categories:

5. Customer Experience

6. Economic Impact

7. Education Advancement

8. Employee Health & Wellness

9. Entrepreneur

15. Uniquely Austin

The deadline for nominations is Friday, August 20.
