On February 1^st, Velocity Clinical Research hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of their new clinical research site in North Austin.

Velocity Clinical Research is the world’s leading organization of fully integrated research sites and has supported more than 15,000 clinical studies across the U.S. and Europe. They partner with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to research new drugs, medical devices, and diagnostics that could improve human health and well-being.

Since 2019, Velocity’s research site in Cedar Park, Texas has been committed to delivering timely, high-quality data and unparalleled patient care in dozens of clinical trials across a wide range of therapeutic areas. As of 2024, Velocity moved from Cedar Park to its new state-of-the-art building in North Austin’s “Silicon Hill.” The new location marks a significant milestone in Velocity’s journey towards making clinical studies more accessible for all in the Austin area. Through fostering partnerships with local healthcare providers, community organizations, and advocacy groups, Velocity hopes to bring awareness to the importance of clinical research and ensure the inclusion of underrepresented communities in all stages of trials.
