UFCU Cuts Ribbon on New Location

Posted on 08/08/2019 by Austin Chamber of Commerce

On July 16th the Austin Chamber of Commerce helped University Federal Credit Union (UFCU) cut the ribbon on their newest location, UFCU Trinity, in the Health Transformation Building of The University of Texas at Austin at 1601 Trinity Street.

Like other UFCU Interactive Financial Centers, this UFCU Trinity offers a more modern approach to the banking experience with financial kiosks that allow for quick, convenient access to the teller-like services that are requested most often.

“UFCU was founded in 1936 by faculty and staff at UT Austin, and we are proud to continue to support the university in a variety of ways,” said Peter Davila, the financial center’s manager. “This new location gives us a new opportunity to deliver convenience, accessibility, and financial education to UFCU Members, including UT faculty, staff, students, visitors, and the Ascension Seton teaching hospital community.”

In addition to the Chamber, the event was attended by UFCU employees and special guests from Ascension Seton and The University of Texas at Austin

UFCU is well-known to the local Austin community. A member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, UFCU is passionate about changing lives and strengthening communities. With more than 305,000 Members in Central Texas and Galveston County and assets under management exceeding $3 billion, UFCU offers a variety of products, services, and education programs to empower Members in achieving financial health.
