In 2018, we held more than 60 events and meetings to bring the business community together.

We represent more than 2,000 businesses and the hundreds of thousands people they employee. The Austin Chamber has a rich culture of networking through our signature events, our Power Up Austin event series, and our various committees and councils.

In 2018, we recognized 66 businesses at our Austin Gives Generous Business Awards luncheon.

In addition to working toward a more prosperous region, we also work towards a more philanthropic community through our Austin Gives program.

In 2018, we spotlighted more than 300 businesses through our events and online platforms.

We know the work the Chamber does every day would not be possible without the creative and innovative businesses in our region.

In 2018, we helped more than 1,300 high school seniors fill out the FAFSA so they could qualify for college financial aid.

We recognize that to continue attracting top businesses to our region, we must have a talented workforce to fill mid- and high-skilled jobs.

In 2018, Opportunity Austin helped bring 26,800 jobs and added $1.62 billion in payroll to our region.

Launched in 2004 with the goal of creating 72,000 jobs and increasing payroll by $2.9 billion over five years, Opportunity Austin has surpassed its goals to bring jobs in diverse industries to our region.

In 2018, we reached out to more than 265,000 Austin voters through our Keep Austin Voting initiative.

As an independent nonprofit organization, we work with lawmakers, advocating for things like solutions to traffic congestion and policies that make it easier to run a business and find work in Austin.

We know that when the business community comes together to make our region a better place, Austin works.
