Austin Community College

ACC's new health screening app is now available. The app allows you to self-screen for COVID-19 before coming to campus. Please see the return to campus timeline for a more detailed ACC Fall 2020 Reopening schedule. Beginning, July 6, 2020, campuses and centers will be open only to students attending in-person classes or with appointments and essential faculty and staff. All who enter an ACC building must wear an ACC identification card and follow ACC's Health & Safety Protocols. ACC is now planning for the upcoming Fall semester, please see the latest hours of operations for current ACC Campus operating hours - Most classes will remain online and most employees will continue to work remotely. . The executive leadership team is working with faculty and staff to determine how best to safely return to the classroom and work. The transfer back will be gradual and require new safety protocols. All ACC campuses still closed through July 6th. Campus closed, classes moved online to ACC student portals beginning for the rest of the semester on March 30th. ACC CARES Act Federal Emergency Funds Relief Application is now open. Please see the ACC CARES Act Student Aid website for instructions on how to access the application.Most classes will remain online and most employees will continue to work remotely. The college will extend the Pass/No Pass grading option to students for both spring and summer 2020 classes. All students will receive a letter grade at the end of the semester and may then choose to either accept the letter grade or take a Pass/No Pass. Pass/No Pass will not impact a student’s GPA.ACC online classes extends through Summer. Summer Classes registration begin May 4th. Fall 2020 Classes registration begins June 15th. Please see the Fall 2020 Reopening decision. Students will have the option of remote learning. There will be approximately 11,000 classes with 2,100 held online. Students will not return to campus after the Fall 2020 Thanksgiving Break. The remainder of the November - December period will be "reading and finals" days at home. Baylor Admissions is now test optional for the 2021 test cycle. Baylor has extended the deposit deadline to June 1 (previously May 1). Baylor will continue accepting applications and required documents throughout the spring semester. Rice University

On July 1, all Rice University students (new and returning) and their families will receive a detailed message addressing all of COVID related matters on campus. In addition, this message will include a link to a mandatory survey, due July 6, where we will ask you to tell us your enrollment intentions for fall semester -- in other words, whether you intend to be enrolled and on campus (residential or living off campus), enrolled and attending remotely or not enrolled at all.Rice University Instruction will begin as originally planned on Monday, August 24, 2020 + Instruction will end on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020Rice University will need to reduce population density in our research labs and office buildings for the fall semester. The first phase of the reopening of research is underway and we will probably institute some adjustments for the next phase in July. Rice University is tentatively planning to operate in-person classes in the fall, beginning as currently scheduled on August 24. More social distancing will be required on campus.As noted in that memo, the majority of classes, with limited exceptions, will be offered in a dual delivery format. We want to emphasize that as set forth in the May 4 communication, this is a not a final decision but one that will be revisited regularly as conditions evolve over the summer with a likely final decision in July.. Sam Houston State University

Sam Houston University Fall 2020 Schedule will be a blended model. Please see the SHSU updated Preparedness and Readiness Plan for the upcoming Fall 2020 Semester. Phase II, May 26 – June 30, initiates the university’s return-to-operation plan. Some buildings will be opened or have restricted access based on needs and occupancy rates. University of North TexasThere are five committees charged with managing the re-entry/recovery process. The leads from each of those committees will meet once a week and will act as an advisory group to the President and Cabinet. In addition, each Vice President will provide more detailed information to their division about their specific re-entry plans within the UNT System and university-level guidance. The committees are: academics, research, student life, facilities and operations, and health and safety. Additional information will be shared as plans are developed and finalized.
