On September 19, Amazon announced it would be adding 600 new jobs to its Domain location, bringing the total jobs the company announced it is adding at the Domain to 1,400 in 2019.

“Amazon is once again exhibiting its confidence in the Austin region’s ability to provide an innovative community and talent pipeline that helps fuel success by creating 600 new jobs at the Domain. Opportunity Austin is pleased to see Amazon’s continued investment in our region’s prosperity with this announcement," said Charisse Bodisch, Senior Vice President of Economic Development for the Austin Chamber of Commerce.

These new jobs represent more opportunities for people to find work, provide for their families, and achieve prosperity. We are thankful for our members and job creators that continue to view Austin as a place where they can grow.

Amazon will also lease an additional 100,000 square feet of office space in Domain 10, a 15-story building currently under construction bringing Amazon's total leased square footage to 145,000 square feet in the building.
