Public meeting on US 290 from Oak Hill to Dripping Springs

The Texas Department of Transportation has proposed a project to widen and improve US 290 between FM 1826 and RM 12 in Travis and Hays counties. The proposed project aims to reconstruct and widen about 13 miles of US 290 from RM 1826 in southwest Austin to just west of RM 12 in Dripping Springs. The current four-lane, undivided roadway will transform into a six-lane divided facility with adjacent frontage roads and shared-use paths.
