Quality of Life Foundation

Founded in 1985, the Quality of Life Foundation of Austin, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The corporation's purposes include, but are not limited to, the support of cultural, historical, research, conservation, environmental, beautification, and general community development activities benefiting the City of Austin, the State of Texas, or the United States. Additional purposes of the corporation are the promotion of patriotism and the promotion of civic pride in the community, state, or country.

The Quality of Life Foundation of Austin supports regional strategies to improve educational attainment, reduce poverty, increase employment, and enhance economic opportunity for families in Central Texas.

About DTC 70

The Direct-to-College Achievement Plan, or DTC70, is the first multi-chamber, multi-school district, multi-business compact to commit to enroll 70% of the Class of 2018-2019 directly in higher education. This is part of the Chamber's education/workforce strategy to develop talent and connect students and families to the educational and skills training opportunities they need to compete for area jobs, power future economic growth, and share in our region’s prosperity.
