    AMD, the chipmaking giant with its HQ in California and leadership based in Austin, has set up a fund to help researchers using supercomputers to fight coronavirus, the Statesman reported. AMD put $15M into the fund. The money will help pay for new computing systems that will be given to organizations working on COVID-19 research.
