SSOE Group, an internationally ranked architecture and engineering firm, celebrated the grand opening of its Austin office at 1701 Directors Boulevard with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this fall. A recognized leader in semiconductor, electric vehicle, and battery manufacturing, the firm’s new workspace will support projects in advanced technology as well as industrial manufacturing and architecturally driven projects across SSOE’s market sectors.

SSOE leadership from the U.S. and Mexico joined local staff and distinguished clientele for a Texas-sized open house celebration—welcoming guests, commemorating the success of the new office, and embracing the firm's growing employee population.

Although SSOE’s Austin office officially opened mid-2023, the firm has been delivering state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities projects in Texas for nearly four decades, completing over 400 projects in the Lone Star State. Notable projects include Toyota’s 2.3 million SF San Antonio assembly plant, TPCO America’s 1.6 million SF Gregory facility, and—most recently—Continental’s LEED Gold certified facility in New Braunfels.

Upon opening day, SSOE touted a full office, already brimming with nearly 50 local employees, and anticipates the Austin location will quickly grow to be one of its largest.
