Opportunity Austin welcomes Acutronic's new Aerospace Products Division

Opportunity Austin, the Greater Austin Chamber's five-county economic development initiative, today announced the launch of a new Aerospace Products Division by the Acutronic Group, a world-class manufacturer of precision motion simulation.

“Acutronic is a welcome addition to Austin’s burgeoning defense and aerospace innovation sector," said Opportunity Austin Senior Vice President of Economic Development Charisse Bodisch. "Its decision to locate in the Austin region is a yet another example of the strength of our innovative community and representative of how Opportunity Austin has continued to diversify our economy since 2004.”

Acutronic has secured an interim space in the newest WeWork facility at 316 West 12th Street.

“We are incredibly proud of our Austin location,” said the Acutronic Group CEO Florian Aigrain, “This new office directly supports Acutronic’s long-term growth strategy and will allow us to work on next-generation projects that will influence some of the nation’s most exciting aerospace and defense programs.”
