AUSTIN, Texas—The Greater Austin Chamber has opened nominations for the 2019 Austin A-List Awards. Nominations close on Monday, April 8, 2019.

The A-List awards increase visibility for Austin’s most innovative homegrown companies. All companies, both tech and non-tech, at any stage are considered.

“A-List is our opportunity to celebrate Austin’s homegrown companies and leaders that are making noise and innovating in diverse sectors," said Austin Chamber Senior Vice President, Global Technology and Innovation, Leigh Christie. "This year, we’re proud to introduce several new award categories including ones that celebrate women-led and bootstrapped businesses. A-List is also going to be a year-long celebration beginning today with nominations opening up, highlighted by our event in May, and continuing beyond as we look to feature even more thriving Austin leaders and job creators throughout the year.”

Companies can be nominated in three categories:

START-UP

• Received less than $10M in funding
• AND/OR Under $2M in revenue

MID-SIZE

• Received more than $10M in funding
• AND/OR $2M-$20M in revenue

SCALING

• Revenue of $20+

All companies must be headquartered in Austin and be privately held at the time of nomination.

A-List finalists and winners will be honored on Thursday, May 23 at ACL Live at The Moody Theater. This event is open to the public.
