AUSTIN, Texas—Opportunity Austin, the Greater Austin Chamber’s five-county prosperity initiative, today announced the expansion of AI company Moveworks into the Austin region.

Moveworks, headquartered in Mountain View, California, offers companies an AI platform that automatically resolves employees’ requests, such as IT issues and HR questions. The new Austin office is one of several that Moveworks is currently adding around the world. This location will be critical for the company, as it will support all employees and customers in the South while serving as a home base for the region.

Moveworks, one of the fastest-growing AI companies in the world, has doubled the size of its team in the last year to more than 300 full-time employees. The new Austin office is located in the Barton Springs area, and already has more than 20 employees. Moveworks is looking to expand that number to 40-plus by the end of 2021.
