The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce today announced the organization's 2019 Volunteers of the Year who will be recognized during the 142nd Annual Meeting on Feb. 5.

As volunteers, these individuals went above and beyond in supporting the Chamber's mission with their time and talents. They have enhanced the business community's efforts to take on the biggest challenges facing business in Austin.

"The Chamber would not be as successful as it is in helping to create jobs and community prosperity without the generosity of our volunteers from the business community," said Chamber Board Chair Brian Cassidy. "Whether it is helping coordinate our major recruiting trips or sitting down with prospective companies or airlines interested in the Austin region, our volunteers take on a myriad of projects that benefit our region and its economy. Our 2019 volunteers of the year have gone above and beyond in donating their time, expertise, and counsel to the chamber in ways that have truly benefitted our community. I want to congratulate them on earning this honor."
