Would you like to visit the Caribbean this summer but worry about the hurricane season? The ABC islands in the Caribbean rarely have hurricanes. These southern Caribbean islands are located outside the hurricane belt or area prone to hurricanes. According to ABC News the approximate frequency of hurricanes in these islands is 28 years. In addition, these beautiful islands experience cool breezes during summer, so it does not feel suffocating hot as at other Caribbean islands. These islands are part of the Netherlands Antilles. The first ABC island is Aruba, known for its pristine white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, nice resorts, and lively nightlife. This island is great for snorkeling, scuba diving, and wind surfing among other activities. The second ABC island is Bonaire which is almost completely surrounded by corals, so this is a great place for diving and snorkel. The third island is Curacao, with a more cultural experience, colorful Dutch style architecture, and diverse cuisine. Some of the beautiful beaches in Curacao are located in secluded coves. Also this island is great for water sports.

Don’t let hurricanes keep you from having a summer vacation in the Caribbean!
