St. David’s Medical Center recognized among World’s Best Hospitals 2026 by Newsweek

AUSTIN, Texas—St. David’s Medical Center announced today that it has been recognized among Newsweek’s list of World’s Best Hospitals for 2026. This is the seventh year the hospital has received this recognition. The ranking highlights leading hospitals across 32 countries.

Newsweekpartnered with statistics portal and industry ranking provider Statista to award the best hospitals. More than 2,400 hospitals were ranked this year, with the top 250 making the list of World’s Best Hospitals 2026.

Hospitals were ranked after receiving a final score comprised of data from the following four sources:

  • Hospital quality metrics, including data on quality of care for treatments
  • Patient-report outcome measures
  • Results from patient surveys, including patient satisfaction
  • Recommendations from thousands of medical experts, including an online survey

St. David’s Medical Center offers a comprehensive range of services designed to meet the diverse healthcare needs of patients at every stage of life.
