St. David’s HealthCare acquires 14 Texas MedClinic Urgent Care facilities


St. David’s HealthCare announced today it has acquired 14 Texas MedClinic Urgent Care centers in Central Texas as part of HCA Healthcare’s acquisition of Texas MedClinic, a network of 40 urgent care centers across Texas. HCA Healthcare is St. David’s HealthCare’s national hospital operating partner. The urgent care centers will be rebranded as St. David’s CareNow Urgent Care clinics.

  • 4851 N. IH 35 (Round Rock)
  • 9900 S. IH 35 (South Austin)
  • 113 Slowbes Way (Jarrell)
  • 19055 S. IH 35 Frontage Road (Kyle)
  • 13140 W. State Highway 29 (Liberty Hill)
  • 1701 S. Colorado St. (Lockhart)
  • 10104 U.S. 290 (Manor)
  • 12319 N. MoPac Expressway (North Austin)
  • 1501 FM 685 (Pflugerville)
  • 16191 Ranch Road 620 N. (Brushy Creek)

Prior to the acquisition, St. David’s CareNow Urgent Care had 25 locations in Central Texas. With the acquisition of Texas MedClinic, St. David’s HealthCare expanded its footprint to 39 urgent care clinics in the region.

St. David’s CareNow Urgent Care clinics offer quick care for non-emergent illnesses and injuries, such as sprains and strains, minor burns, coughs, sore throats and flu-like symptoms, as well as physicals, vaccinations, general diagnostics and check-ups.
