AUSTIN, Texas (Feb. 23, 2026) – Planet Fitness – one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers with more members than any other fitness brand – announces the opening of its Austin (Lake Creek) club at 13729 N Hwy. 183, Unit 1200, Austin, TX 78750.
The community is invited to tour the club, work out for free and relax in the Black Card Spa® area during the official grand opening celebration taking place Friday, Feb. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m.
1300 Zone will host the festivities featuring Mark Henry – the World’s Strongest Man, WWE legend, Olympian and host of 1300 The Zone in Austin TX– and Austin FC players Jon Gallagher and Jayden Nelson. The event also will feature contests and giveaways every 30 minutes (including chances to win UT basketball tickets), as well as snacks and drinks from local eateries. As an additional incentive, a 72-hour membership discount will be available only to registered attendees.
