LPA Joins Austin Chamber of Commerce Following New Studio Opening
The Austin studio is the 2025 AIA Firm Award winner’s seventh location, and the third in Texas.
LPA Design Studios, a multi-discipline firm focused on crafting sustainable, high-performance projects, has joined the Austin Chamber of Commerce as part of its continuous investment in the city. The move follows the launch of the firm’s studio in Mueller, anchoring its position in one of the state’s most dynamic design and development markets. With existing studios in Dallas and San Antonio, LPA has had a presence in Central Texas communities for years, so an Austin hub was the next key step in the firm’s efforts to serve local clients.
“We have a rich history in Austin with active projects and long relationships with clients and the community,” shared CEO Wendy Rogers. “The new studio will allow us to better collaborate with our trusted partners on a deeper level.”
Located in the LEED Gold Mueller Diamond, a three-story mixed-use building at the development’s heart, LPA Austin is fully staffed with an integrated team. Colleagues across architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, engineering, communications and technology work side by side, reflecting LPA’s commitment to a collaborative, inclusive design process and ongoing growth across its nine disciplines and seven areas of practice.
While the studio has garnered recognition for its K-12 work and well-established partnership with Austin ISD, higher-education and civic projects are also currently underway, with additional opportunities in affordable housing, commercial and workplace.
Recent projects include the LEED Gold–certified General Marshall Middle School, a three-story campus in Mueller that serves 800 students and aims to reinvent the urban school experience; Pflugerville City Hall, part of a public-private 29-acre expansion of its downtown in partnership with Griffin Swinerton; and the LEED Gold–anticipated Thomas G. Harris Elementary School, winner of the 2026 AIA Austin Community Impact Award and a 2026 Texas Society of Architects Design Award for programming that enhances belonging, well-being and stability.
“Central Texas is a fast-growing area, and there are many opportunities to be part of that through placemaking and our data-informed design approach,” said Austinite and Managing Director Sophia Razzaque, who joined LPA in June 2025. “We are excited to participate in the Chamber as we find our footing and expand into different local market sectors.”
