KVUE to Host U.S. Senate Democratic Primary Runoff Debate
KVUE-TV is proud to host a U.S. Senate Democratic Primary Runoff debate on Monday, June 29, between the U.S. Senate Democratic candidates competing in the July runoff election for a chance to face incumbent Republican Sen. John Cornyn in November.
Candidates MJ Hegar and State Sen. Royce West will compete in a debate that will air on TV, KVUE.com, KVUE's YouTube channel, KVUE's Facebook page and KVUE's Twitter page starting at 6:30 p.m. on June 29. KVUE Political Anchor Ashley Goudeau will serve as the debate's moderator.
KVUE previously held a debate in February between 11 Democrats on the ballot ahead of the primary election in March, as a part of their Emmy Award winning Vote Texas initiative.

John Cornyn. With social distancing, it’s going to look a little different and sound a little different, but the message is the same: watch and vote!” says KVUE News Director Christina Ginn.
The June 29 debate will be held on the first day of early voting for the July primary runoff election.
