Chicken Salad Chick, the beloved fast-casual restaurant known for its craveable chicken salad and Southern charm, is officially opening its doors at 1000 East 41st Street, Suite 200 in the Hancock, Austin neighborhood. Chicken Salad Chick opens Tuesday, August 26 at 10 a.m. The first 100 guests in line will receive free chicken salad for a year, with specials and giveaways daily through August 30th.
What began in a small kitchen in Auburn, Alabama, has grown into a rapidly expanding brand with over 300 locations across the country. Founded in 2008 by Stacy and Kevin Brown, Chicken Salad Chick is more than a restaurant—it’s a tribute to family traditions and flavors passed down through generations. Inspired by the women in Stacy’s life, each chicken salad recipe on the menu is lovingly named after a “chick” who helped shape her journey.
Chicken Salad Chick offers over a dozen different chicken salad varieties— from the creamy and classic to bold, spicy, and fruity. Fan favorites include:
