Changing Austin podcast returns for season two with new voices shaping the region’s future
Season two features leaders in workforce development, transportation, business, education, health and arts and culture
AUSTIN, Texas — Changing Austin, a podcast from Amplify Credit Union that examines leadership and growth across Central Texas, returns for its second season Feb. 20.
Hosted by Amplify chief experience officer Stacy Armijo, the podcast features conversations with business, civic and cultural leaders about how Austin is changing and what those shifts mean for the region’s future. Season one included business leaders such as Mason Ayer of Kerbey Lane All Day Cafe, Chris Seals of Still Austin Whiskey Co. and Jamie Herlich of ZACH Theatre. The new season expands that approach, offering insight into the values and strategies shaping Austin’s future.
“Season two continues what we set out to do from the beginning, create space for real conversations with people who are actively shaping the future of our city,” Armijo said. “These are leaders who are working through growth, change, and uncertainty in real time. Each guest brings a different perspective on how Austin is evolving, and when you listen to their stories together, you get a clearer picture of both the challenges ahead and the opportunities that come with them.”
The new lineup draws from leaders in health, technology, film, workforce development and higher education, including:
- Tamara Atkinson, chief impact officer and president of workforce advancement strategy
- Ghizlane Badawi, CEO, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport
