2nd Annual Junk 'N Jam Fundraiser
The event itself is the 2nd annual basketball game between the IREP Recyclers and the Austin Compactors played on May 19, 2024.
The IREP players are employees, friends, and family of the company.
The Compactors’ players are citizens of Austin, some of whom represent local schools, businesses, or organizations.
It’s a REAL basketball game between people of various ages and backgrounds, but there are scripted moments, pop-culture references, goofy free throws, and lots of fun and laughs.
Think MTV’s Rock and Jock from the 90s meets the Globetrotters.
Proceeds benefit two local nonprofits that citizens voted on: Austin Child Guidance Center & ATX KIDS CLUB.
You get to learn about local businesses, meet new people, have fun, and support some great nonprofits.
