Value-based health care
How employers can reduce costs while improving employee health
Economic Recovery series
Tuesday, April 6
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Employers fund the US health care system, but are they getting their money’s worth? Health care doesn’t work as well as it should and as a result, the health of US workers is not nearly as good as it could be. What can employers do?
Scott Wallace, Managing Director of the Value Institute for Health and Care at the University of Texas at Austin will share how employers can take a strategic, pro-active approach to improving employee health and reducing the costs of health care. Starting from an understanding of what is driving poor health among employees, even the smallest employers can take concrete steps to design better health benefits, improve health at work and create better health care options for their employees.
