Join us for the first Innovate Austin of 2026 as we look ahead to SXSW EDU 2026, taking place March 9-12. SXSW EDU is the dedicated SXSW event focused on the future of teaching, learning, and human potential: a gathering place for educators, innovators, district leaders, entrepreneurs, and creators shaping what’s next in education.
We’ll kick off the morning with remarks from the SXSW EDU team, offering updates on the 2026 program, featured speakers, standout panels, and a preview of Crossover Day taking place March 12, a unique moment when SXSW EDU and SXSW attendees come together.
After the EDU overview, we’ll shift into a focused panel discussion. Improving outcomes for Austin’s students requires strategic partnerships, alignment across sectors, shared accountability, and a long-term commitment to collaboration with students and families. Join Ron Reed of SXSW EDU alongside community leaders Amy Jones, Vice Chair of Education & Workforce at the Austin Chamber + CEO of O'Connell Robertson, and Geronimo Rodriguez, Co-Chair of Austin 2030.
Start the year with inspiration, community, and a first look at everything SXSW EDU has in store for March!
