This spring, Texas Housing Conservancy is proud to partner once again with Keep Austin Beautiful for our second annual community beautification events across four Austin properties. These hands-on volunteer days are about more than planting flowers or picking up litter; they’re about building pride, connection, and care for the places our residents call home.
Community beautification plays a powerful role in strengthening neighborhoods. Clean, well-loved shared spaces foster a sense of ownership and belonging, encourage neighbor-to-neighbor connection, and contribute to healthier, more vibrant communities. For our residents, many of whom are hardworking Austinites balancing careers, families, and rising costs, these events are an opportunity to come together, take pride in their surroundings, and welcome the new season side by side.
Through our ongoing partnership with Keep Austin Beautiful, residents, volunteers (you!), and community partners will roll up their sleeves to garden, mulch, plant, and participate in community clean-up efforts. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just excited to get your hands dirty, there’s a role for everyone.
We’re currently looking for volunteers to join us at all four sites. These events are open to community members, neighbors, and Austin Chamber members who want to make a tangible impact while connecting with others who care about our city.
