We are excited to hold another Business Owner's Council event for the business community, and we need your help and expertise to continue uplifting the needs of our growing economy and present leaders.

The purpose of this event is to reignite our committee membership and engage new members who are business owners in the Austin region.

This council provides a focused opportunity for business owners to advise in the work of the Chamber, including the following:

  • Facilitate business owner perspectives on policy concerns
  • Advise on the development of targeted content, programming, and events in support of business owners
  • Identify potential Chamber members

  • Meet Bobby!

    Bobby Jenkins is the owner of ABC Home & Commercial Services, which now has offices in the Austin, San Antonio, College Station, and Corpus Christi metropolitan areas. ABC employs over 900 people and offers a wide variety of services, including pest and termite control, lawn service, landscaping, irrigation, tree trimming, air conditioning & heating, plumbing and electrical, pool & spa service, handyman services, window cleaning & power washing, and appliance repair. Bobby is a 1981 graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in business management.

    Bobby is a past chair of the Austin Chamber of Commerce and past chair of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. He is a past president of both the Texas and National Pest Management Associations and a past chair of the Better Business Bureau, Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse and the Alzheimer’s Association. Bobby currently serves on the Agricultural Development Council, Mays Business School Development Council and the board of The Former Students Association at Texas A&M University. He is a past chair for Caritas of Austin and has served as a tri-chair for the bond oversight committee with AISD.

Cancellation Policy
The Austin Chamber of Commerce must maintain a cancellation policy for events in order to properly plan for catering, venue expenses, and marketing efforts. Unless stated otherwise, Chamber reservations must be canceled 5 business days prior to the event to be eligible for a refund. All refunds will be issued 10 days after the event. No refunds will be issued for nonattendance. You are welcome to send another member of your staff in your place.
