Each year, we invite the business community to nominate businesses that do an outstanding job of giving back to our Central Texas community.

For-profit companies of any size may submit a nomination in one or more categories and submit information based on our 5-county region consisting of Travis, Williamson, Hays, Caldwell, and Bastrop. Nonprofit organizations and government entities are not eligible.

Congrats to our 2026 Philanthropic Leaders of the Year: Steve & Virginia Visser
As a business and life partnership, Steve and Virginia have spent decades proving that thriving businesses and thriving communities go hand in hand, leaving an unforgettable mark on Central Texas through leadership and deep-rooted philanthropy.
Together, they became owners of Workplace Resource in 2008 – following distinguished careers with Herman Miller – and built a powerhouse workplace solutions provider. The company became renowned not only for professional excellence (including being named the #1 Women-Owned Business by the Austin Business Journal in 2020) but also for its culture of giving, employee volunteerism, and community impact.
At the Austin Gives Awards, we'll share their full story. Be ready to get inspired! 🤩
