There were approximately 74,000 available job postings during the April 2023 monthly reporting period, approximately 6000 more job postings than the previous month. New (first-time) postings increased by 2,234 to 27,028. New Job Postings represented 37 percent of all Available Job Postings – the same as the prior month. New Job Postings in the Austin, Dallas, and Houston metros increased by 8-10% compared to the prior month.

There were approximately 68,000 available job postings during the March 2023 monthly reporting period, approximately 1000 less job postings than the previous month. New (first-time) postings decreased by 1,530 to 24,794. New Job Postings represented 37 percent of all Available Job Postings – a one percent decrease compared to the prior month. New Job Postings in the Austin, Dallas, and Houston metros decreased compared to the prior month, though Austin decreased at a lower rate.
