The Bastrop Business & Industrial Park is strategically located near Texas State Highways 71, 95, and 21, and only 25 miles from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Sited on 263 acres of wooded hills and lush flats, the Park is the proud home of several prosperous enterprises, including one of the few remaining U.S. based sewing operations, a major art sculpture foundry, and a company that provides clinical trial material management for the pharmaceutical research industry. Currently, there are about 34.5 acres currently ready for development.

Zoned as commercial/industrial, the Bastrop Business and Industrial Park was established by the City of Bastrop in 1996. Recent studies show approximately 40% of Bastrop’s workforce is employed outside of the city, but would much prefer to work in town. To facilitate this need, the Bastrop EDC welcomes businesses and commercial entities that can provide employment opportunities and investment in our great community.
