Cedar Park

Cedar Park, Texas is a vibrant community situated on the northern border of Austin and just 17 miles from downtown. Cedar Park is located in Williamson County, and is an integral part of the Greater Austin regional economy. Between 2010 and 2019 Cedar Park was the seventh fastest growing city in the nation for cities with a population of 50,000 and up.

The City’s continued strong growth is the result of our commitment to support business and employment in an inviting family-friendly environment.

Cedar Park is the third largest city in the Austin metropolitan area, known for its outstanding schools, pro-business climate and relaxed family environment. Named one of Family Circle’s Top 10 Places to Raise a Family, Cedar Park offers all of the benefits of life in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, with desirable neighborhoods, an entrepreneurial business environment, and a business friendly city government.

True to its namesake, Cedar Park now features 46 City-maintained parks within about 1,000 acres of City-owned parkland, along with 34 miles of trails. Today’s population is just under 84,000. Cedar Park is home to two professional sports teams: the Texas Stars, AHL hockey team affiliate of the NHL Dallas Stars; and the Austin Spurs, NBA G-League basketball team affiliate San Antonio Spurs. The Stars and Spurs play at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park, a City-owned multipurpose venue that holds up to 8,700 guests and hosts more than 130 events per year.

Cedar Park serves as national or regional headquarters for companies including National Oilwell Varco, Firefly Aerospace, Hyliion, ETS-Lindgren, ABEO, Corvalent, eDaptive Power (formerly Voltabox), Visual Lighting Technologies, American Constructors, Hellas, Tresl, Dirigo Collaborative and James Avery Artisan Jewelry.

Cedar Park is well positioned on the path of growth in the Greater Austin area and invites you and your company to be part of that growth.
