Cedar Park

Cedar Park is located in Williamson County, approximately 20 minutes north of Austin, and is an integral part of the Greater Austin regional economy. Between 2010 and 2014 Cedar Park was the fourth fastest growing city in the nation for cities with a population of 50,000 and up. From a population of 26,049 in 2000, Cedar Park has exploded into a community of almost 70,000 residents today.

The City’s continued strong growth is the result of our commitment to support business and employment in an inviting family-friendly environment.

Named one of Family Circle’s Top 10 Places to Raise a Family, Cedar Park offers all the benefits of life in the Texas Hill Country, with desirable neighborhoods, a top rated public school system and a pro-business climate conducive to businesses looking for a location to expand or relocate their operations.

Supported by strong infrastructure, exceptional leadership and quality commercial developments, Cedar Park is focused on creating a diverse commercial tax base that will remain sustainable and vibrant for years to come, without becoming overly dependent on a single sector of the economy.

Working together, we are creating new business opportunities and addressing the needs of our fast growing community. Through our diverse economy and talented citizen workforce, the quality of our commercial developments, affordable housing and our exceptional parks and sports facilities, Cedar Park has attracted a number of new companies that now call our city home.

The H-E-B Center at Cedar Park is a 6,800 seat multi-purpose event center and home to the Texas Stars, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars as well as the Austin Spurs, the NBA D-League team of the San Antonio Spurs. Since opening in September 2009 over 3 million people have attended events ranging from sports and concerts to Cirque du Soleil in the Center.

The City’s challenge is to ensure the Cedar Park of tomorrow retains and improves on the many things that make Cedar Park so attractive today . . . sound stewardship of our natural resources, strong leadership, a low crime rate, a family environment, a superior education system and a pro-business climate.

Cedar Park is well positioned on the path of growth in the Greater Austin area and invites you and your company to be part of that growth.
