Texas Mutual Releases 2025 Impact Report
Posted on 09/10/2026 by Jeremiah Bentley – Texas Mutual VP Marketing & Community Affairs
At Texas Mutual Insurance Company, the state’s leading provider of workers’ compensation insurance, we’re committed to being a stable force for good. From awarding our 500th nonprofit grant to serving over 80,000 businesses, we worked hard to deliver on our corporate citizenship commitments during 2025. Learn more about how we supported businesses and communities in the Austin area and beyond.
Corporate citizenship strategy
In 2023, we launched our first-ever corporate citizenship strategy to outline the focus areas and commitments that will guide how we will drive toward creating a stronger, safer, more resilient Texas. We’ve committed to combining the power of Texas Mutual’s business operations, philanthropy and partnerships to focus on four areas of impact.

2025 Austin-area support
As the home of our headquarters, Austin has a special place in our hearts. We partner with many nonprofits in the area, and our nearly 700 Austin-based employees spend hundreds of hours volunteering in our community each year. See how we delivered on our corporate citizenship pillars within the Texas Capital region last year.

From company investments to volunteering, our employees are dedicated to serving our communities. See 2025 highlights of how we showed up for our Austin-area neighbors:
- Our employees raised over $160,000 for our longstanding partner, United Way, during our annual campaign.
- Texas Mutual distributed $330 million in general dividends to our qualifying policyholders, including $12.4 million to Travis County businesses.
- We were honored with a 2025 Philanthropy Day Award by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Austin Chapter.
- In response to the devastating July 2025 Central Texas floods, we made philanthropic donations to four organizations to support recovery efforts.
- In October, our Austin employees led Texas Mutual’s Month of Giving, in partnership with the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s (IICF) Month of Giving, completing volunteer projects for Generation SERVE, Mobile Loaves & Fishes, Foundation Communities, El Buen Samaritano, Caritas of Austin, Texas Search & Rescue and Saint Louise House.
