Austin’s tourism and hospitality industry was one of the first and hardest hit, and may be the last to fully recover. On May 12th, we were joined Visit Austin and local business leaders representing various hospitality sectors for an in-depth conversation on where the industry is today and where we are headed as the city reopens its doors to visitors.
Our panelists shared insights on tourism’s role in the overall economic vitality of our city and how tourism recovery means Austin’s recovery.
