Total Wine opens in Arboretum

Total Wine and More celebrated the grand opening of their new location with a ribbon-cutting extravaganza. During the celebration, attendees enjoyed live music, experienced over 20 tastings, and gathered with wine, spirits, and beer experts. A Chamber member since July 2017, Total Wine offered patrons a reusable wine tote with a free gift, store information, and discounts.

Located at 10001 Research Boulevard in Suite 300, Total Wine is the country’s largest retailer of fine wine. Established since 1991, Total Wine is committed to providing patrons the lowest prices on wine, spirits, and beer. The company operates more than 162 superstores across the United States and employs 4,000 workers. Each store carries more than 8,000 wines, 3,000 spirits, and 2,500 beers.

“So if you don’t find what you are looking for here, I am a little concerned about you,” said David Lofreddo, District Manager of Total Wine and More. “We spent a lot of time coming up with a fantastic leadership team here and an unbelievable set of team members for this store. We are so proud of them and think you will be proud of them too while shopping here and experiencing their personalities.”

Total Wine will donate ten percent—a minimum of $10,000—of all wine sales from its grand opening to Communities in Schools of Central Texas as part of its commitment to the Austin community. In 2016, Total Wine donated over $6 million in monetary and in-kind donations to more than 9,000 organizations across the U.S. Total Wine is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“We are so grateful to be a community partner with Total Wine. It’s a wonderful commitment to the community you serve,” said Carmine Salvucci, Chief Development Officer of Communities in Schools of Central Texas.

The ribbon cutting was held July 13. For more information on Total Wine and More, click here. If you are a Chamber member and would like to coordinate a ribbon-cutting ceremony, contact Melanee Ferrier at 512-322-5684.
