SignatureCare, located at 5701 W Slaughter Lane, celebrated the grand opening of its new facility with a special ribbon cutting. At the opening, SignatureCare staff, physicians, and Austin Chamber members greeted visitors and gave personal tours through the newly renovated facility packed with leading-edge medical technology.

“We are really excited to be here in South Austin,” said Dr. Chris De Wall, medical director of the new facility. “I think you will find that people are going to get great care here, that we are excited to be a part of the community, and that we will have a prosperous association in South Austin.”

The 24/7 freestanding emergency room facility is staffed with board-certified physicians and skilled nurses to treat common types of emergencies including injuries such as fractures, back pain, or seizures, imaging services, laboratory services, antibiotics, and emergency care for pneumonia, influenza, or bronchitis. Patients can expect a wait time of fewer than 10 minutes, state-of-the-art laboratory and pharmacy on-site, and quality care on a walk-in basis.

“They have a total of 230 employees with 24 in the Austin location. That means that 24 families are able to live, grow and prosper in the greater Austin area because of SignatureCare,” said Rene Campos, Ambassador to the Austin Chamber of Commerce. “We look forward to a long lasting relationship. Just know we are here to help you grow your business any way you possibly can.”

SignatureCare Emergency Center has been in operation for over three years with five locations in Houston and Sugar Land, and one location in College Station. The ribbon cutting was held May 3. For more information on SignatureCare, click here.
