Nonstop flight to Boston

This week, Delta Airlines announced nonstop service from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) to Boston Logan International Airport. Delta is the ABIA’s fourth largest carrier and has provided service to 1.5 million passengers.

Flights depart the ABIA at 6:30 a.m. and arrive in Boston at 12:20 p.m. Flights from Boston to Austin will depart at 7:30 p.m. to arrive in Austin at 11:10 p.m. The year-round, nonstop flight will operate six days per week, Mondays through Sundays. The flight will utilize Airbus A319 aircraft, which includes first class seating and offers free on-demand in-flight entertainment for all passengers.

Delta’s list of nonstop flights from Austin has grown to nine with the addition of Boston. Delta will also begin new nonstop service to Seattle on June 12 (SEA). Delta currently operates Austin nonstop service to Atlanta (ATL), Detroit (DTW), Los Angeles (LAX), Minneapolis / St. Paul (MSP), Raleigh-Durham (RDU), New York (JFK), and Salt Lake City (SLC).

Since 2008, the Air Service Task Force of the Austin Chamber has partnered with the ABIA to increase the direct US and international flights to Austin. Flights will begin September 10, 2017.
