Why did you join the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce?
It’s a fantastic opportunity to build awareness about CLEAResult’s energy efficiency services that have helped thousands of local and global utilities, businesses and individuals turn energy challenges into energy solutions. And as a rapidly-growing company in an exciting, advanced industry, we’re always looking for other mission-driven people interested in joining our enthusiastic and committed team. We want to explore the diversity of what the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce has to offer, whether it’s new connections or idea sharing.

In 150 words or less, what is CLEAResult?
CLEAResult is the largest provider of energy efficiency programs and services in North America. Through proven strategies tailored to clients’ unique needs and market dynamics, the combined strength of experienced energy experts and technology-enabled service offerings help CLEAResult change the way people use energy for hundreds of utility and business partners. Why did your company decide to operate in Austin?
CLEAResult was started around a kitchen table in Austin. Our founders envisioned a results-oriented company having a positive impact by helping people make smart energy decisions. We’re proud members of every community we serve, but Austin is home.

My favorite thing about the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce is …
its leadership and commitment to tackling the big issues. We’re as equally passionate about tackling big issues and do so every day by delivering client services that are unmatched in our industry. We’ve accomplished this by building and fostering relationships with partners at a local level.

What do you hope to gain from your Greater Austin Chamber membership?
We hope to facilitate a more prosperous local economy and find new ways to better serve the changing dynamics of this vibrant city. Through the Greater Austin Chamber, we hope to meet new people and learn how we can plug into this community.

What do you want the world to know about your company’s commitment to positively impacting the Central Texas region?
CLEAResult has helped school districts in Texas lower their energy bills, so they can hire more teachers and buy more books. We’ve leveraged our network of trade allies to simplify energy saving projects for local businesses. Our mission is simple: We change the way people use energy.™

Is there anything else you would like to share with us?
Our Austin office achieved the Austin Green Business Leaders’ Platinum certification, the highest level of certification for local businesses. Established by the City of Austin’s Office of Sustainability, businesses are awarded this distinction for incorporating sustainability best practices including energy efficiency measures, waste reduction, water management, employee health, transportation, community stewardship and employee engagement. We highly recommend businesses go through this certification process.
