Lamp Plus celebrated the grand opening of its first location in Austin and third store in Texas with a ribbon cutting. A member of the Greater Austin Chamber since July 2017, attendees shared their love of lighting and décor.

“I thank everyone for coming out today and bringing a little light to Austin,” said Paula Jorgensen, store manager of the Lamps Plus Austin location. “Our store is unique from any store we have had in the past because you can basically look at any lifestyle and take that home with you today.”

Located at 10000 Research Blvd in Suite 133 in The Arboretum, Lamps Plus is the nation’s largest specialty lighting retailer and carries a wide variety of furniture and home decor. The company operates 39 stores in seven western states. Lamps Plus offers consumers the opportunity to shop thousands of top brand designs, daily deals, style advice, and more. The open floor plan of the Austin location showcases how accessories and home furnishings complement their lighting fixtures.

“Fifteen families in the greater Austin area are able to live, grow, and prosper because of Lamps Plus and for that we thank you,” said Rene Campos, ambassador of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. “We at the chamber look forward to a long-lasting relationship. Just know we are here to help you grow your business any way we possibly can and wish you nothing but the best.”

The ribbon cutting was held September 29. For more information on Lamps Plus, visit their website here.
