In honor of the 30th anniversary of Austin's sister city relationship with Koblenz, Mayor Pro Tem of Austin Alison Alter will be leading a delegation visit to Koblenz, Germany in June.

A sister cities relationship is a broad-based, long-term partnership between two communities in two countries. A relationship is officially recognized after the elected or appointed officials from both communities sign off on an agreement to become sister cities.

All citizens of Austin are cordially invited to join the delegation. This is an opportunity to both strengthen and reinvigorate relationships from the last 30 years, and to create new opportunities for both cities. Business leaders are especially welcome to join the delegation as are community leaders from culture, arts, sports, media, education, and tourism, to name a few.

The trip will depart on Monday, June 20 and return on Sunday, June 26. The program in Koblenz will run between June 21-25.

More information about air travel, lodging, meals, other logistics, and how to register are available on the Sister City website. To find out more or to register to go on the trip visit: https://www.austinsistercities...
