Tell us about the growth of The Steam Team since it was founded.

D: Founded in 1983, The Steam Team is a true Austin original. We are the only locally owned, full-service cleaning, and catastrophe management company in the greater Austin area. Since exceptional service and cleaning is what we do, The Steam Team serves homeowners and businesses with a wide range of services to meet routine and emergency needs with prompt service. What impact has the local community had on the growth of The Steam Team?

J: Since we have been around, we started with just one location in Austin with 25 clients. Today, we have more than 200,000 clients, a 24-hour water or fire emergency hotline, and have expanded to Georgetown, Dallas, and Naples, Florida. We are so thankful for our humble beginnings in Austin and look forward to the future!

The Steam Team has a pretty catchy slogan, “Steam On.” What’s the meaning behind it?

D: Since we have been around, we have always participated in some way by giving back to our community. For us, a corporate partnership is when businesses and the community work together on daily issues that impact the livelihood of residents. For us, the issues we are most passionate about are affordability. So, it makes sense for us to offer affordable and safe products that residents can use.

Understanding that life and things happen that are beyond anyone’s control, we wanted to ensure that our clients were able to stay composed in stressful situations. The “Steam On” slogan is our playful remake of the “Keep Calm and Carry On” slogan.

It sounds like The Steam Team has made some pretty impressive strides in Austin. What separates you from the competition?

J: Our team is different from our competitors due to three characteristics. We offer:
