JLL wins Greater Austin Business Award for commitment to employee physical and mental wellness

Well-being isn’t only about physical strength; your mental and spiritual health is just as important. Managing stress and finding balance in your life is just as important. JLL provides its employees with resources that help them live a healthy lifestyle both through personal and work relationships.

Due to their commitment to motivate and assist employees to live healthier lifestyles, JLL won the Seton Health and Wellness Award. The accolade, a category of the Greater Austin Business Awards program, recognizes businesses that engage their employees in a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle.

“At JLL we support employees and their families in making positive lifestyle behavior choices to ensure peak physical and mental performance while avoiding preventable diseases,” said, Todd Wallace, Managing Director of JLL. “In addition to our medical benefits, we offer our employees health programs like our FitBit Challenge that encourage our team to be active each week.”

JLL offers all employees health, career, financial, personal, and safety empowerment programs. While the resources vary depending on the program, employees are able to earn up to $725 through the company’s Health Rewards program by living an active lifestyle, participate in clinical wellness course programs and various health screenings throughout the year. Austin employees also participate in their own Health & Wellness program by catering healthy lunches each quarter and participating as a team each year in the Trail of Lights Fun Run. In 2017, the team, led by Michael Gonzalez competed with Austin Sports and Social in various sports including sand volleyball, kickball and softball.
