HHS brings top-notch customer service to healthcare, senior living, timeshare, and resort industries

According to the Pew Research Center, nearly 87 percent of Americans hold health care providers in high regard. This equates to nearly nine in ten Americans. The reasoning for this could be due to companies such as Austin-based HHS.

Created in 1975, HHS, previously known as Hospital Housekeeping Systems, supports more than 400 partners across the United States and Chile by providing culinary, environmental services, patient flow, facilities, clinical and biomedical engineering, and linen utilization management support services. Utilizing principles and methodologies established by the Disney Institute, Cleveland Clinic, and Studer Group, HHS provides their team members with the skills and knowledge they need to provide quality customer service to the guests they serve.

“We are committed to ensuring our partners receive the best customer service because we care about finding solutions to the problems our customers face and truly making a difference,” said Bobby Floyd, Chief Operating Officer of HHS. “Not only have we developed great systems to support our partners, but what it really comes down to is the people we have on our team and their exceptional work.”

HHS was awarded the ABC Home and Commercial Services Customer Service Award. The accolade, a category of the Greater Austin Business Awards program, recognizes an organization dedicated to outstanding customer service and satisfaction.

HHS team members are trained on the A.W.A.R.E. approach to guest recognition and interaction which helps team members remember the appropriate communication protocols when encountering a guest. These guidelines and best practices, among many others, ensures HHS team members are capable, comfortable, and confident in their ability to share a positive interaction with the guests they serve. Additionally, in an effort to better serve their customers, HHS measures and evaluates feedback and complaints by conducting multiple quality assurance rounds throughout their partner facilities every day.

“We are honored to receive this award and are ecstatic to be recognized for ensuring the best possible customer service,” said Floyd. “This accomplishment is made possible by the hard work of our team who continuously provide remarkable services for our partners each and every day.”
