Gauntlet AI recently marked a major milestone with the completion of its fourth cohort, celebrating not only the achievement of its fellows but also the placement of hundreds of engineers into the Austin community. The event highlighted the organization’s continued investment in the region and its commitment to strengthening the local tech ecosystem.

Gauntlet AI is an intensive, tuition-free AI engineering fellowship designed to transform experienced software engineers into AI-native builders. By selecting top engineering talent from across the country, immersing them in a rigorous full-time program in Austin, and placing graduates directly with companies seeking AI-ready talent, Gauntlet provides a fast track to the forefront of AI innovation.

“We are extremely proud to bring engineers from across the country to spend seven weeks in Austin each cohort,” said Josh Martin, CMO of Gauntlet AI. “Not only do these individuals become AI-native builders, but they also experience the rich culture Austin offers—it’s why so many choose to stay after the program concludes. Partnering with the Chamber allows us to deepen our investment in the community and discover new ways to contribute.”
