Chamber ecodevo team continues recruitment efforts—virtually

Last month, the Chamber’s Opportunity Austin economic development team hosted its first virtual marketing trip. They were joined by representatives from economic development agencies throughout the region. The team met with Chicago-based companies, site selectors, and consultants to share how great it is to do business in the Austin region.

Even amidst the pandemic, the Chamber’s team continues to hear from out-of-state companies interested in relocating to and expanding in our region. As Tesla starts the process of creating its new Gigafactory in Travis County, we anticipate growth of the manufacturing industry.
